Dream House Or Money Pit

I was going to begin a new blog to write about The Kids and I living together and house hunting, but I’m not very techno savvy; so I’m just going to add it here.

We’ve been cohabitating since April, 2014 and we’ve had our good days and bad ones like any other relationship, but all that may change in about 14 hours January 15th when we walk through a 3300 sq ft house! Our dream home was built in the late ’60s and is being sold “as is” which could mean it might be a real money pit just like the so aptly named Tom Hanks’ movie or a “diamond in the rough” so to speak.

We discovered the house by accident 2 days ago when we left the Ozark Pizza Hut and decided to drive around. I can’t show you photos at this time because I don’t want to jinx our good fortune. The house is huge with 10 rooms and a split bedroom floor plan, And 3 Bathrooms! Can you imagine, we could all go to the bathroom at the same time. (You may think that sounds silly, but if you’ve ever waited in line to use the bathroom you understand.)

We’re all so excited that we can’t sleep and that’s why I’m sharing this with you. I will post photos and tell you more after the viewing. Meanwhile keep your fingers crossed that this house which would normally sell for over $1,000,000.00 is not “The Money Pit” in disguise. Onward…
