I previously posted about how you can use baking soda to polish your headlights. Well today I decided to find out if it worked. Here is the result of just polishing one. Can you tell which one it is?

I asked Bernie to take the photo because I thought it was going to rain and sometimes it takes quite awhile for me to get everything lined up. (My photo taking time must improve or I’ll never get any celebrity photos at SLC Comic Con.) Anyway I digress as usual. I looked for old toothpaste and discovered Alexa had pitched it. She’s right of course because how often are you going to need old toothpaste?

I rummaged and rummaged trying to locate those elusive tubes. (It can also be used for spackle.) Finally I pulled out a brand new tube of El Cheapo sensitive type toothpaste (notice the lovely pink color.) Oh if only you could have seen me attempting that photo!

Now the final test will be when I go out after dark tonight and see if my polishing job helps my night driving. More on that later. Onward…

It didn’t work as well as I had hoped, but I don’t drive that often now due to limited vision. Anyway I’m going to do the other headlight just as soon as I get access to the car.
