My Adopted “Children”

Meet black Loki and Lola, The Kids’ cats.  Loki and Lola seem to want to love on me now more since we all live 3 miles apart.  I on the other hand am not as enthusiastic as they.  Don’t get me wrong, I’d feel the same way about puppies too because I’m always thinking about protecting my eyes (and slowing down my vision loss,) and one way I do that (I hope) is to ensure my hands stay clean.  Animals don’t understand this; they just want affection; so today I explained my reasons to Alexa for seeming aloof to her furry “children” and gave them some loving once the hand sanitizer was within reach.
