Be Gone!

Frustration
Trepidation
And what if fears
Tumble inside my head

These annoying scenarios
Cause much grief and pain

Pain for The Freedom I’ve lost
Grief for the hesitation
And false prison it evokes

For to break this cycle
I must
Overcome me

And force myself
Outside
To be free

  1. “I must overcome me” very profound, Sandy, and usually, we are our own worst enemies…great poem..

  2. Cubby says:

“What if fears” can be debilitating. Love the strength in this poem. 🙂
