This is so beautiful I just had to share it.
The Peace Project, an international social movement that I work with in Sierra Leone, changed this man’s life by giving him a pair of crutches.
I took this photograph in May 2012 during one of The Peace Project’s crutch distribution efforts in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Sandra, I’m very moved that you shared this on your page. So many blessings and good vibrations to you. Thank you so much. Michele
Gee thanks Michelle. I am humbled in your presence. 🙂
Sandra, thank YOU! I’m humbled by you. 🙂
I loved this and many more when I visited Michele’s blog, she is an exceptionally talented photographer and poet and she has the heart of an angel. I’m glad you reblogged this, I must make a note to do so also, it is just so hard to pick one though, there are so many great pieces!
Thank you so much for your support last night, sandra, I feel very special 🙂
I know. Michelle’s fantastic. I’m trying to save some money so I can get to the UK Film Festival in November. I have free passes waiting for me for this year’s festival because I submitted a short scrip to last year’s 3 Minute Script Contest. If I can scrounge up the money to attend I’m almost positive I’ll see more of Michele’s work there since she’s also a documentary film maker. Wish me luck, please sir?
Indeed, I wish you every success and shall wish hard for you 🙂
Hi! Would you be interested in accepting a tag blog award?
Thanks Mr. Scribe. I am honored that you have asked me, but am declining because lately I just don’t feel right about referring other people’s blogs. You see I’m concerned that I might overlook a spectacular one that could use the added traffic. Instead I’ll just say: Fellow Bloggers keep searching Blog Land. You’d be surprised what you can find on the internet. 🙂
That’s cool 🙂 Happy blogging!
