Importance Of Being

There was once a time

when he came through the door

and thrilled me

with his presence.

 Now I dread those days

because all I see

is my schedule disrupted.

So we must find a way

to get back on track

even if it means

him giving up

or me giving up

staying behind

Because only we can decide

what’s more important —

the Money or Us

My computer is haunted today, or my eyes are playing tricks because as much as I like my work I do not mean to flaunt it. Onward… 🙂 🙂

This poem give great images of a relationship needing some work.

Thanks Bongo. It’s easy to get caught up in making money and forget what’s really important, i.e. family, etc. I have heard so many stories about children raising themselves because Mom and Dad had to both work to pay for their fancy house.
