The Prep’s The Thing

Well here I am trying to figure out how I’m going to get all my stuff (including what I’ve acquired in St. Louis) back into my car for the return to Dothan, AL.  Ah such fun…

You see I’ve pulled treasures — “one man’s junk is another’s treasure” — from storage to take back with me.  I had originally planned to sell the stuff up here, but have discovered I won’t be here long enough to do that.  (Seems it’s very time-consuming to post on Craig’s List, and nobody wants to volunteer to handle my treasures for me after I’m gone).

My chauffeur/moving guru, Barb, and I recently journeyed to the storage unit.  She checked out my bedroom and the rest of the furniture and said that it was ok except for a musty smell that can be washed away with some cleaner and elbow grease; so I’m gonna keep my treasures a while longer.

If I wasn’t so sentimental, I’d have parted with them long ago, but I always was a marshmallow inside.  Lucky me, I get to plan another trip to St. Louis to either move my treasures Down South or join them!
