Things are looking up. It’s been a struggle, but my blogging and determination are finally paying off. You see I’ve been submitting poetry to websites, and it’s finally being accepted!
I was discouraged for a long time because everything I submitted elsewhere was rejected. That’s the beauty of having your own blog — you decide what you post. Today I got an email stating that my President poem had been accepted by an anthology. Eureka! That’s 3 acceptance emails this month, and I’ve still got other submissions out in Web land. What a great day…
So keep writing and submitting your work fellow bloggers. It’s your dreams that you’re bravely sharing, so don’t give up on them.
Congratulations on having some of your submissions accepted. It can be a real challenge at times.
Good for you, Sandy. I knew the world could not ignore your work for long.
Thank you both for your kind words. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been blogging a little over a year now. I started it for therapy and look what’s happened… Just a reminder — keep writing those haikus because tomorrow’s Halloween.
