I seem to be on a haiku kick again. I awoke this morning; grabbed my trusty pen and scrap paper and wrote these little ditties. Hope you like them…

I walk on eggshells
because of your angry moods —
so Enough Already!

Questions are answered
whether thought or just implied;
so be receptive.

Choose your words carefully —
they mirror your soul inside.
This you cannot hide.

Anyone up to some Halloween Haikus? How about we post on each others sites? Let me know what you think…
Regards and happy writing!

Gotta love the haiku:) I inparticular like the last one of your haikus – so simple, but so true!
Thank you. Sometimes the words just resonate — other times it’s like mining, but oh how we feel when we’re finished.

Halloween haiku’s, what a fun idea. Have you tried writing micrograms yet? They’re the cousin of the haiku and I think they would mesh well with your fun style of writing. I’m going to think of some spooky ideas for some haiku’s. Thanks 🙂
I went to your blog to find out what a microgram is and it sounds like fun. I’ve been writing haikus since last Halloween when I posted one on another blog. I think they’re fun and was surprised to discover so many haiku sites on the World Wide Web! Check out my zombie haikus from last October and happy writing!
Great haikus – Here’s a Halloween haiku I just wrote at your prompting:
Ring of the doorbell
Children dressed up, bags held out
take my treat and run
I like it! I’m getting ready to post some macabre ones here and I’ve got one to post on your blog.
