Ease On Down The Road…

Wavy lines are now visible when I close my left eye; so more trips to the retinologist are imminent.  I hope that I can get more shots in my eye to curtail this scary situation.  Meanwhile I drove to Abbeville, AL to the pharmacy to get my prescriptions… And while I was there I checked prices on beer and wine.

The liquor seems to help relax me, but I’m not a wine connoisseur so I really just compared prices.  I must admit it seemed strange comparing beer and wine prices when other people compare food prices, but I feel like I’m living on borrowed time with my eyes and definitely want to make the most of it.

I found a 6 pack of light beer for about $5.00 and put it in the cart… then I found a bottle of fruity white zinfandel for the same price.  I bought the wine.  After all it’s got real fruit.  The bottle is in the refrigerator chilling and I’ll partake of the raspberry, lime and other natural flavors — per the bottle — later.
