Happy Monday to y’all. I have just returned from the pharmacy where I picked up my prescriptions and was asked about getting a Shingles shot. I said yes, but then remembered my regularly scheduled Avastin shots for my wet type macular degeneration which I then mentioned to the pharmacist. She said she would check the computer and then informed me she wasn’t sure if it was ok for me to get the shot. I gave her my new retinologist’s name and phone number. (He only comes to Dothan, AL on Thursdays). She wrote down the information and said she would call him. As I was preparing to leave, I told her I could live with the pain of shingles if it meant I could see. Thus the reality of this situation is slowly ebbing into my psyche whether I like it or not!
